Shortcuts are not loading
How come when I click my icons I get the animation of it opening but it actually doesn't load?

-Does this happen for all your shortcuts?
-Do you see an error message when you click the shortcut?
-What sorts of shortcuts are these? To files, applications? do they point to locations on your local drive (ie, c:\ drive) or do they point at network locations
-Are you using the most recent version? If you push F1, do you see v.1197 or something earlier? -

I don't get any kind of an error message.
I don't have any linking to a network location though I can test that if you'd like.
Everything is linked to a variety of places in my computer.
If its a file just sitting on my desktop then it works but a shortcut of any kind, linked to even the same file will not work, I turn off bumptop and it works perfectly.
Sorry for being ambiguous before -
Inappropriate?Can you check to see if the filename of the shortcuts that don't work actually end in .lnk in the command prompt?
