Solid icons? Icon shape?
I've noticed how the icons are built entirely out of the icon image (times four). They can be hard to differ from each other when lying in a pile. In the application Real Desktop the icons are like small, non transparent bricks with the icon images pasted on two sides (see image). I found this nice and it would be great as an option.
It would also be awesome if you could change the shape of the icons to, say circles or cubes.

Inappropriate?I have real desktop and found that made all the icons look very samey..
I'd much rather see the edges of the current ones fixed when in a stack, on my desktop the flat side transparency is great, but the thin edge of its bounding box shows in a stack, spoiling the illusion.
