VIP version 2318 blurry photo frames
Just updated to VIP version 2318 and since doing so, have noticed that the photo frames I have are very blurry. It isnt my graphics card as everything else appears fine, just the photo frames.
As a side note, possibly add a 'check for updates' button to the BumpTop settings box.

2318 has a known problem with photoframes. We made some pretty huge texture loading (performance) changes - and not all the changes were completed in time for this build.
Thanks for your patience - we'll get this fixed up in the next build. =)

Inappropriate?I noticed that but it's not the only problem concerning photo frames that the build faces. If you double-click on the photo frame it will show you a preview of the next image, not the one currently being viewed.
Moreover, an object has to be selected to use the left and right arrow for the slideshow to initiate. The object being selected also often follows the pointer when the slideshow begins, pushing over all objects in the way and possibly, the frame being viewed itself. -
Inappropriate?Is there somewhere we can check to see the most current version available for DL? I know BT should automatically DL current builds, but in the past I have found this isnt always the case. -

No way to check yet, unfortunately. The changelog on the download page is updated each time we release, so perhaps this is the best place to look, currently.
We pushed a new VIP build live just this morning, so you should see an update coming down. However, this photoframe issue is not yet resolved in this build.
(We're seeing some video memory usage problems in lower end machines, so this will be fixed - in that high quality versions of photoframes will load - once we have these problems sorted out. The latest VIP build introduces a quality slider - low, medium and high - and the loading photoframes in high quality will be integrated into these settings soon.)
The latest VIP includes a whole bunch of bugs, so if you've previously reported bugs, it would be great to hear if this build has resolved your particular issue. -
Inappropriate?Thank you. I DLed and installed the new build and everything is great. After reading your reply, I adjusted the slider and the images are back up to where they should be.
One last question, i notice there is a new feature tab for the latest VIP version. Where can I get more info about that? -

We're ramping up for release soon, and so some of BumpTop's features will be only available in the Pro (paid) version. The exact details are still in flux now, but we'll be making announcements about it all soon!

Since you have the build installed - we're seeing some situations where the scene.bump file is not saved properly.
If you move an icon around, then quit BumpTop and reopen it, is the position saved properly?

Inappropriate?Yes it has - as per my previous post, there was a bug with scene files in 2467. An updated 2470 build will be pushed out in the next few hours that resolves this regression and adds a few more bug fixes.

Inappropriate?I apologize. Shortly after my last post, I left work for the weekend. But yes, I did encounter that problem. I now have VIP 2489 installed as of a few minutes ago. Havent had a chance to check for issues, but will get into that later.
