Vista "Bump This Folder" with Beta 10!
Hey Y'all,
We just released an update (Beta 10, version 0.1.1348) of BumpTop. Relaunch BumpTop and it should grab the update or hit the download site with your invite code: http://bumptop.com/download
It has a number of bug fixes thanks to your crash reports. Also, as hotly requested on http://bumptop.com/vote we implemented support for "Bump This Folder" on Vista.
Keep that feedback comin'!

It take's really a lot of time to load bumptop into the explorer (Vista).
I click on Bump this Folder.
Windows Explorer doesn't respond for a couple of seconds (even half a minute sometimes).
And then Bumptop loads into the folder with the really dark background you get while Bumptop starts on your desktop.
Then the icons actually get icons. -

There is a pretty good interval of time around 2 to 5 seconds between each step.
Finally my wallpaper is displayed.
Regarding the Jaggies:

Inappropriate?No worries. If you're just seeing Jaggies on the edges of the walls/floor then we know about the problem. Thanks for the heads up.
Regarding loadup performance, if you collapse all your piles to folders and restart does that let things load any quicker?

And forget to mention.
Bumptop atleast takes only 10 seconds to load on a average.
But Bump the folder actually makes it irresponsive and I'll have to wait for around 30 seconds to a minute for it to load. Then again all these 3 steps to wait for.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem as Gautham. My Bumptop doesn't take long to load but when I do Bump this folder it can take well up to a minute to load and go between folders, plus about half the time it crashes windows explorer.1 Comment Add a comment
