BoA Sync stopped working?
Bank of America sync not working anymore for an account that I have been using for over a year. I just started getting the error [paraphrasing] "Buxfer only supports checking and savings accounts. This appears to be a different kind of account." It's plain old checking and I have been using it forever. Any ideas?

Inappropriate?I just signed up for Buxfer with a BOA Checking and when I went to syncronize I get a "communication error with financial institution" error message.

Inappropriate?Same problem! I also get the "communication error" when trying to sync Bank of America. (Previously got the message about an unsupported account type, even though the account in question is a checking account.) Shashank, can you post an update on this situation?

Inappropriate?shashank, can you let us know what is going on with this issue? I'd like to know what Buxfer staff have been doing so far working on a solution, even if it has been unsuccessful. Do we as BoA customers need to be telling them to work on it or is the issue on your end? I'd rather get inconclusive project updates than hear nothing for 2 or 3 months until it's fixed. I'm quite tired of manually entering all my transactions.

Inappropriate?Sorry about that. I understand your frustration. There is nothing you or BoA can do about it. Not all BoA accounts are affected (mine work just fine!) so its harder to track down this issue, but we are trying our best.
We are working on an important update right now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, we will fix the BoA problem. -

Inappropriate?My checking and savings have started working again, but my BoA credit card still gives me this message, "Sorry, an error occured while communicating with the financial institution. Please try again later" after it links up to start syncing. The sync clock resets on my account, but no transactions were added

Thank you for working on this problem. My Checking and Savings is syncing successfully but my Bank of America Credit Card account is still throwing the "Sorry, an error occurred while communicating with the financial institution..."
