How to add a I paid for someone else transaction using a credit card (credit company paid for me)
How can I add a transaction where I paid for someone else using my credit card? I usually register credit card transactions as "credit company paid for me" to have a record of how much I owe them, but by doing this I cannot know how much the other person owes me, ant the transaction is register as my expense, when its not.

Inappropriate?You should enter credit card transactions as simple expenses. The net balance on that account would tell you how much you owe your credit card company.

Inappropriate?To be more clear: if you paid for yourself with the credit card, just enter it as an expense. If you paid for a friend, enter it as paid for a friend. You don't need to enter any transaction as being paid by the credit card company.
