Problem syncing transactions from one bank with multiple credit cards
I have two American Express credit cards. A few weeks ago, I was able to select which card to sync transactions from after I enter my username + password, but now that option doesn't seem to exist, and Buxfer is picking the card I don't want. Has this functionality changed or been removed?

Inappropriate?I have several accounts with one bank. When I set them up, I setup several different accounts (one for each I had at a bank). When I would sync, it worked fine, it downloaded the right transactions for the right accounts. However, twice now Buxfer has lost the knowledge when syncing which bank account goes to which Buxfer account. This resulted in checking account transactions being downloaded into money market, etc. It made a real mess of things.
I’m Concerned and frustrated.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, I have three Bank of America accounts: 1 checking and 2 credit cards. Every transaction synchronized is added to all three accounts, regardless of what account it came from, making buxfer reeeeeaaaal messy...

Inappropriate?I have the same problem...for months it was loading both my checking account and visa account (both at Wells Fargo) without issue. Now it is duplicating my checking transactions again as transactions under the Visa account. Buxfer has gone back and grabbed a bunch of transactions and done that to them. So everything is a total mess and more-or-less invalidates all the numbers since expenses and income are impacted.

Inappropriate?I have the same issue. We emailed support about it back in May and never heard any thing! I finally went through and tried to clean up all my transactions manually, but now I can't sync to the separate accounts (mine are both Chase credit cards). THIS IS BADLY BROKEN. I'm a pro member, but still haven't heard back. I see this same problem in several other threads here. We really deserve some answers, even if they are just "we're working on it", any feed back would be good at this point.

Inappropriate?Here's something I noticed. I also have 2 cards with Chase (but different logins). Buxfer was initially syncing them properly, separately. However, sometimes it tries to sync both Buxfer accounts to the same card. I have both setup to sync nightly (automatically). Now, this is what I do to get around the problem, I delete the saved login information and reset it up. This seems to do the trick for me sometimes.

Yes, Eric is right. We changed the way things work so that people do not have to enter their login information for multiple accounts at the same bank. It is more common for someone to have the same login credentials at a single bank. -
This is a serious change to the feature set for those of us in the case you no longer support. You have broken buxfer to the point where my wife and I will have to go else where. Please let us know if you change your mind about this unfeature. We just cant use your tool this way. I feel very strongly that this was a bad call, as objects Creditials are one to one with Accounts not one to one with Institutions. Please, please put this back, we really are otherwise happy with your tool. -

Inappropriate?I have several accounts at one bank: MC, hubby's debit card, wifie's debit card, savings, etc.
When I set up firebux sync recordings, a pop-up box asked me which account I wanted. But when I wanted to set up syncing every night, I had to do it on the buxfer page, and it asked for different login info and did not ask me which account I was syncing.
I think that might be where it happened to me. I'm new to this. Anybody out there who is experienced with Buxfer want to give me some phone coaching for a small Paypal donation? Sure is confusing. -
Inappropriate?Same problem as well but with Citi Card. I think Buxfer should know that I feel like a beta tester sometimes and I'm only okay with that if it ISN'T financial software.

It's not working for me...I just went to synchronize my Bank of America CC and it downloaded all the transactions of my checking account...what a bummer, I haven't been able to use Buxfer because of this... -
Shashank, any updates? I just tried again today and this is still NOT working for me, how frustrating!!! I've stopped using buxfer now and moved to mint.com. It's a shame buxfer has great interface yet it lacks real customer service/tech support, issues like these are fundamental to a good user experience...I really liked buxfer... -

Inappropriate?hi Shashank, thanks for fixing this =-) It appears to be working again. I'll keep an eye on it the next few days, but I can confirm that it is letting me update two credit cards on two different accounts from the same provider.
