Projections and budgets
The only way that I can see the projection including the buget forcasts is to have all accounts selected for the projection. If I choose just one account, my checking account, then the budget amounts do not come out of the forcast. Is this by design?

Inappropriate?Projections are very buggy and they don't show budgets like you would think. If you delete bill reminders, sometimes they will still show in the projections. So keep a very, very close eye on the transactions and amounts it lists.

Inappropriate? That is the frustrating part, things seem so buggy that I have a hard time trusting anything. This website seems to be the only one I have found that incorporates all of the features I am looking for...now if it just worked correctly all of the time.

Inappropriate?Same for me, it's a shame, i'm wrong this month closed to 300€ due to this problem :-(

Inappropriate?Matthew,
Sorry for the late response.
Regd your original question: yes, you are right. If you select a particular account for projections, it is hard to project which account you are going to be paying your budget expenses from. -
Inappropriate?Since scheduled transfers aren't included in the projections, I too would like the budgets to be shown when looking at the projections for a specific account.
I don't think its hard to project which account you will be paying your budgeted expenses from. 90% of the time they will be paid from a users main checking account.
But since everyone does things differently, I would suggest that there be an option to choose which account things are budgeted from in the budget section.
I also think that scheduled transfers really need to be added to projections!

Interesting. Did you base that statistic using some research? For me at least, 99.99% of my expenses come from my credit card.
Scheduled transfers are included in the projections. If you are facing a problem with that, email details of the problem to support [AT] buxfer
Lastly, I don't see how a problem with not including scheduled transfers is solved by including budgets.
I’m extremely confused

UPDATE: we have been able to find the problem with scheduled transfers and projections. Expect it to be fixed pretty soon. -
The problem with scheduled transfer and projection should be fixed now. If not, please email a detailed bug report to support [AT] buxfer. Thanks for pointing out this problem! -
No I did not do any research, but that was not the point of my post, the point was that it would be ideal to be able to assign budgets to specific accounts so that EVERYONE is happy.
In response to the budgets fixing scheduled transfers part, if the scheduled transfers were working (which they may be now, i haven't checked yet) then i could happily use the all accounts view, but since it wasn't working i was using the checking only view. -
The scheduled transactions are working correctly if I look at a single account, but if I look at all accounts, they do not show up.
Also, one of my recurring transfers is showing up twice, hopefully I can fix this by deleting both recurring transfers and re-entering it again. I'll let you know if that doesn't work. -
I can understand why transfers don't show up under the all accounts view, no money is going in or out.
