Inappropriate?i presume the founder of a group cannot leave while he is the only member of it - as this link is not displaying as you pointed out.

Inappropriate?You're right Algo. If you're the creator of the group you can't 'leave' it.
If you'd like for us to delete it, please send an email to support at buzzable dot com with the group name.
We'll see if there's an easy way for a group creator to delete a group him/herself in the future.
