Archive Styling Suggestion

I use the Archive Newsletters feature on my site at http://fullmotiongroup.com/archive-of.... I like the fact that it's quick and my customers can see past newsletters.

However, the links are pretty bland. Is it possible to allow customers to include additional info with each link? Like perhaps allowing custom text, or showing the table of contents or some variation of above? A thumbnail would be great as well!
