When entering a bill, do I enter charges amount or amount shown as patient responsibility?

Inappropriate?You will want to enter the total charges when you are entering a bill. When you enter an EOB you want to enter the total charges and then you can enter the allowed amount (or your insurance discount) which will give you the patient responsibility or your balance. Hope that helps!

Inappropriate?DCC - if you have insurance and the Doctor/Provider is estimating your coverage and your "responsibility"... then yes, enter the "charges" amount of the bill as the billed amount in MedBillManager. If you do not have insurance, and the Provider is discounting your bill, then you would enter the later. Make sense?
