If I purchase my .mp domain, can I still use it with chi.mp?

If I go into my dashboard and actually purchase my .mp domain, gaining access to the ability to set its name servers, can I still use it with chi.mp by setting the relevant records appropriately?

I'd like to purchase my domain so I can use things like abc.mychi.mp, but don't want to lose the functionality that I'm getting now.
