Information in activity stream duplicate and redundant

If I import RSS feeds into my activity stream, I am noticing that all the titles and descriptions are in duplicated (ie "Twitter post 123: Twitter post 123").

I have this problem, too! Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

The company has acknowledged this problem.

It doesn't happen with the xkcd feed but it does w/ stumble and delicious...if that helps at all.

I'm having this problem but only with StumbleUpon. Wondering is this is a bug in chi.mp or something to do with Stumble.

It depends on how the RSS or Atom feed delivers data. If they deliver the same value in both the title and description elements then we will bring those values into the activity stream and publish them. It is possible that this is what StumbleUpon is doing.
