No Spell Check For Blog - That's Not Funny
No spell check for the "mini blog." Are you serious? What am I supposed to find appealing about chi.mp? Why does chi.mp make everything so much harder to do on my chi.mp page than it is to do other places?
The invention of spell check made my life 1000% easier by solving a problem that had plagued me since my first day of school. (Those of you who grew up with spell check don't believe me, but it's true.) I'm not going to write posts that everyone in the world can read if I can't use it. Not when every other site out there that would let me set up a blog provides spell check.
I'm still trying to figure out how chi.mp is supposed to make my life easier or better or more fun.

The mini blog is still an evolving feature of chi.mp. And we're using Get Satisfaction to figure out where we want to go with the blog. We will certainly add spell check to the list of features that our owners would like added to it. This has been one of the first requests that I have seen, are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer? I think a lot of owners are using Firefox which provides built in spell check functionality for any text field on a web page (as does Safari). See below:

I apologize for the inconvenience and we'll definitely do our best to accommodate your request!
Thanks!
I’m hoping this helps!

Inappropriate?I need spell check for the title too. I'm not joking.
Also, unless I misunderstand Firefox's spell check functionality (and I may) it only tells me when I have spelled a word incorrectly. It does not provide the correct spelling. I have to fiddle around with the word until I happen upon the correct spelling. It's not really a spell check, it's a typo check. It alerts me to words that I have typed incorrectly even though I know how to spell them. It doesn't tell me how to spell words that I do not know how to spell. There is a big difference between those two functions.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Yes, you're misunderstanding the functionality. Right clicking, as seen in the two screenshots below, one from Safari and one from Firefox, shows the menu for correcting any misspellings.
Safari:

Firefox:

These features work in any field (like the one I'm typing in now, notice that Get Satisfaction does not provide any spell checking either).
