Inappropriate?Chi.mp is secured with using encrypted data for your passwords.
Also, because Chi.mp uses OpenID; and that provides another level of security. check out this slideshow:

Inappropriate?It depends on what you mean by "safety". We use SSL for pages that transfer "sensitive" data (such as passwords). We store passwords in an encrypted form. We do not store credit card information if you convert to a paid domain. We have regular, automatic back ups, and you can export your data at any time. You can also delete your account at any time if you're concerned about security or any other issues.
