Inappropriate?Yep, no batteries whatsoever, it only runs when plugged into a wall. It does limit where you can put it (I wanted it in my bathroom but there's only one plug far away by the sinks).

Inappropriate?Actually - my understanding is that it does have a battery, but it's only for maintaining the NV-RAM. However, I haven't disassembled it... yet.
