My internet connection is flaky. I switched to Comcast in February. Since that time, I never know if my connection is going to last for 5 minutes or 5 hours. I've had my computer checked out, bought a new modem *and* a new router. I spent 1 hour on the phone with two Comcast technicians. After working with them the problem was solved. For one day. Now it's just as flaky as before.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, how did you solve the problem?

trying to use sendmail on linux to send to valid comcast email mailbox but I get messages in log indicating failure

Half of the Fancast shows ask me to refresh orthat the video is unavailable when I use VISTA....can view them on XP.....what are the Vista settings so that I can fix this???

I work for a company that is trying to send legitimate communications through email to people that use Comcast.net. We have used their RBL removal form and have been told that we are not listed on that. We have signed up for their Feedback Loop service and are getting nothing from that as well. We have a static IP address that is soley ours. Our server is not an open relay. It sits behind an Anti-SPAM filter that checks inbound and outbound traffic. Checking the outbound traffic prevents SPAMMERs from sending email using a spoofed email address. I am at my wits end trying to figure out what we need to do to be able to send email to Comcast.net. Also are senderscore is listed as 75. Any help we could get resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I live in San Francisco. I've had problems with Comcast TV cable reception. The picture breaks up and gets pixelated and then the signal is dropped. I tested different TVs, checked the cables, unplugged and plugged it in again. Sometimes I get 15 minutes without signal degredation and sometimes an hour. Is it because Comcast is trying to push too many signals through the lines?

Comcast is my cable provider in Richmond,VA. Channel 98 is the Arts network which until about 6 months ago was transmitted without interruption or distortion. Now there is terrible electric static with the picture and the sound. I have communicated the problem to Comcast and they take no responsibility. They claim that it is the Richmond City Library who transmit the program. Comcast has done nothing to correct the problem!!!

Apple's iChatAV no longer works with Comcast Service.

Up until Comcast made some changes to their service, I was so throughly enjoy Apple's IChat AV product. Ichat allowes my grandchildren to "see" and talk to their grandparents who live far away. The service now degrades so rapidly that it makes iChat unusable.

I am, by far, not the only one with this problem. This is a problem that has been documented all over the place. It is so frustrating to pay so much money monthly and not get the service I expected delivered (and many others..you will see). What is even more frustrating than the service not working, is the lack of response from Comcast-the assumed takeaway, they don't care.

Even an Apple Employee at the Apple genius bar said: "The genius mentioned that it was a known issue and that it was a Comcast problem having to do with upload speeds."

Any response from Comcast would be great. Any help from anyone would really help get my grandchildren "seeing" their grandparents again.

Comcast keeps blockingt my emails to my sister, my friends and my house manager, all of whom have Comcast accts. Comcast claims I am sending spam. When I (in the past) go in to challenge this using directions supplied by comcast as it returns my email, the reply always is that there is no spam coming from my URL. Yet the conmpany continues to block my emails. It's gotten bad enough I asked my sister and my manager to get accounts outside of Comcast so I could communicate with them. Checking with my ISP (in New Zealand) I learned that several of their users had also --falsely-as it turns out been accused of sending spam. But they couldn't fix the prioblem --only Comcast could. Today I read in the NYTimes that Frank Eliason is the go-to person who can fix this. It's been months my trying and I wish Comcast would stop interfering with my first amendment rights--and my right as a brother to email my sister--or friends for that matter! Currently I am still frustrated.
