Video Blank After First Commercial
Fancast Problem. The vidoe and audio are find when loading at first. However, after the first commercial, video goes dark and all that is left is audio.

Inappropriate?Have you tried reloading the page?
BTW, our video player has a "resume" feature. You can close down your browser or turn off your machine, and when you come back to that video, the player will ask if you want to resume watching from where you left off. Don't clear your cookies prior to trying to resume though, this will wipe out the resume marker.
If you still have a "no picture/audio only" experience after reloading and resuming the video, please let me know. Remember to past the URL into your follow-up.

Inappropriate?Reloading doesn't do me any good either. This has happened with every episode of The Hills that I've tried to watch.

I have the same problem too, I started watching the moie "The Russia house". Everything was good until the first commercial break. The video goes blank after the commercial, reload doesn't help either and it is really frustrating to start it over again, pause the movie to buffer full length and then go directly to where the commercial break was and then start the movie from there.
You only go as far as the next commercial (which is 20 minutes away) and the problem comes up again.

1) After one ad, the video blanks but the audio continues?
2) closing down the browser and resuming the same video still results in this experience?
Please provide me the URLs of the videos you've had this happen with, so I can test.

Inappropriate?Stephen, Thanks for you concern. I concur with all the other posts. I have tried reloading etc etc. Tried on a Mac, Sony, Sony Laptop. The two movies specifically I was trying to watch was "The last great train robbery" and "the russia house" Reloading no matter what always takes you back to beginning. Never have this problem with hulu. Looks like a software issue when breaking for commericals. Hope you all fix it soon. Thanks ADAM

Inappropriate?Running Vista... Same problem with IE8 and Firefox 3.0.10... When I tried to exit Firefox, it showed that a FLASH window was "not responding"... Was trying to watch the movie "Support your local sheriff"... Using an HP DV4-1125nr Entertainment Notebook PC... Also noticed that, when attempting to resume where video stopped, it took about as long to begin showing the video as though it was playing the video without displaying it... Likely that it is a problem with FLASH.

Since I've started using Fancast to watch Farscape (via Safari) I've noticed some recurring problems-- commercials will often load incorrectly and play over the video I'm trying to watch, I must frequently restart videos that fail to load commercials, and sometimes the video will declare itself to be complete half-way through and I'm forced to restart the video from the beginning!
I can deal with these inconveniences, as Farscape is not up anywhere else (and it's free), but now I've run into more or less the problem described by everyone in this thread. After the first commercial, some videos go blank and then the "Video Unavailable" screen comes up. Refreshing always provides the same result.
Here are episodes where I've noticed this problem (note that one is the second half of a two-parter). Ugh!

I really do enjoy Fancast's larger and wider selection of videos, but it's pretty annoying to have videos that are unwatchable.
