I received a letter letting me know that my Citi Premier Pass Business Mastercard account was being dropped and they no longer wanted my business. My credit score is quite good, household income is fine, no job changes, etc. However, I don't ever carry a balance. So I'm guessing that they're not making enough money from me (though they do get a percentage of each transaction). Okay, that's Citibank's choice. What bothers me is that I continue to get tons of junk mail asking me to apply for all sorts of Citibank accounts. Stop sending me this junk. You closed my account, made me battle customer service to get the prorated portion of the annual fee back, and now you're begging me to open credit and checking accounts? It ain't gonna happen. Stop wasting your tax-payer funded bailout money on mailings to customers you decided to drop.
