Are you supporting external (web) cameras?
I would like to use the application on my laptop that does not have an internal iSight. However I do not own a external iSight either. I am using a standard 640x480 USB web cam that does not need any drivers.
When recording during a usability test, the preview lets me see the video from my web cam, but it will not show it later in the preview or at the final render. What can I do?

Inappropriate?Silverback does support a wide variety of web cameras, but with so many of them available, we can't support them all :-( However if the preview is working it does seem strange that the camera stream isn't recording. I'm sure you've done this, but could you make sure that video capture is turned on by going to the prefs and checking the button marked "Capture iSight video and audio."
Can you go into Library > Application Support > Silverback > Projects, look through the session folders and see if they contain a file called VideoCapture.mov. If so, the camera is recording but not compositing for some reason.
