Hey Folks,
Thankfully we've only had a few small issues on Snow Leopard and most of them will be fixed with the next release (coming soon).
The one issue we've been unable to fix is the erratic behaviour of the Apple remote under Snow Leopard. This is a know bug that Apple have introduced and we hope it'll be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, here's a third party plug-in that should fix any remote issues you've been having.

Inappropriate?I'm running Snow Leopard. Silverback (1.1.1/306) crashes when I try to export a project. Not good.

Inappropriate? We've had a few reports of issues with Snow Leopard, but so far we're not able to replicate the problem. If you are experiencing crashes, can you please send me (andy@clearleft.com) your crash logs and we'll try to get to the bottom of the problem.

Inappropriate?Hi Andy,
I'll continue to send crash logs. Strangely, I've found that I can export successfully on the 'High' setting at 100% size, but no other. -
Thanks Robbie. I know this may be a bit of a pain, but would you mind grabbing the actual crash logs (in Library > Logs > CrashReporter) and email them to me as they contain more info than the one that gets automatically submitted on crash. Thanks -
Inappropriate? No problem at all Andy, I'll do so this evening.
-
Hey Robbie, can you drop me a quick email as I'd like to send you an updated version of Silverback to try out. -
Inappropriate?Any news on this?

We've only had one person reporting crashes on 10.6 and believe we have a fix. Are you experiencing this problem as well? If so, can you send me your crash logs and we'll see if it's down to the same problem? -
Hi Andy, thanks for the quick reply. I do not have this issue, but wanted to make sure Silverback is working properly with Snowie. The site only mentions Leopard I think. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Hi,
If you could send me an email to jon@clearleft.com I would like to send you an point release version of Silverback that we believe has fixed the export problems some users have experienced.
If you could test the projects and sessions that were causing problems with this build then that would be great.
Thanks,
Jon -
Inappropriate?Possibly related: I have a session of 13 seconds duration, using Silverback 1.1.1 (306) on Mac OS 10.6.1 and when I export (Best, 100%) the progress dialog drifts in and out very quickly, but I end up with no export file on disk. I don't get a crash. The system log says "Export Session Beginning" and then "Export Session Ended".
I’m flummoxed

Scratch that - I reinstalled, and all is good, and export is working fine for me. -
