Please add the following options:
"Hide Silverback menu icon"
"Hide Dock"
"Hide desktop icons or use custom desktop image"
"Show Modify Keys in Video Overlay" (This checkbox show I can disable them, on a per session level)
"Record Keystrokes to Text File" <--->

Sorry about the crude images, I did them in 10 minutes. I'd love to do a bit of design for some of the nib file layouts and other things. I plan to make more mockups for you guys.
There are two images attached showing features that would be easy to create and would be important....
Also please allow sessions to be time limited, and when finished, stay at a black screen until a UI person comes and unlocks the screen... (no security needed) just a nice, Thank-you, please wait or something, custom message we can show the users in a lab.
I will explain them in detail further, please give me feedback on what you think! I use this product everyday (for a whole day :-) with over 50 macs....

We already have a 'show silverback menu icon' option in the general preferences pane. We did think about showing/hiding the dock icon, but felt that it probably wouldn't get in the way of a real usability test. I'm guessing from the request that you think it could get in the way and confuse users?
We also have a 'show special keypress' option in the export prefs. I'm not sure why you'd want to show a different desktop image in the exported version, but if you're worried about having too many item on your desktop for testing purposes, you probably need to tidy up that machined rather than hide the icons.
I like the subtle UI changes you've made, so we'll definitely consider those in a future release. In your first concept you have a button for 'additional user details'. What sort of stuff were you thinking of here?
In the second comp you have a star rating which I like the idea of. However I wonder how that would actually get used in real life. We obviously want moderators to be rating the experience the user had, and not the user themselves.
I like using real language dates like 'yesterday' or 'last tuesday' so will definitely consider that. I also like the idea of exporting the notes as a pdf. With the webpage version, were you thinking of just the notes or the embedded video file as well?
I notice you've put a 'reveal in finder' option in there. Are you thinking of the original files or the last file you exported? Also, is there a particular reason why you're chosen the words 're-export' rather than simply export?
I'm not really sure about the time limiting thing and in my experience it's not something you'd usually do unless you're doing a massive unmoderated test. So I'd be interested to learn a little more about the use-case you're trying to solve here.
All in all some great feedback and ideas you've got there. So I'd love to hear about your ideas some more.

Inappropriate?re-export : this was to clarify that you had already exported the video. Sometimes it's confusing. I could have went through and exported 20 sessions, and not be able to remember which ones I need to export yet.. or maybe I go back and export it for iPhone this time around...
Obviously the buttons in that place are ugly.
Additional User Details: (Since custom fields are difficult), The ability to attach to a user from addressbook (easy api). I might create a group called "Usability 002" in addressbook, that contains all my users for this session.
Ideally most important options are:
Points of Contact. Email, Phone, IM, Address
User Info: Age, Sex

Inappropriate?As far as ratings, this is more of a flag, such as you add to email. If I have 100 user sessions (And yes I do), I'd like to flag, a few of them that stood out during testing, so I remember to export them first, or that they somehow brought out an important point, so I can make sure my team focuses on those 3 user sessions

Extra info - We initially thought about having set fields you could fill in about the user. However we realised that whatever fields we added, people would always want more of different ones. As such we thought a free text entry would be best as you could essentially put in any info you wanted.
Ratings - So in that case do you think the ability to actually flag sessions would be more useful than giving them a rating?

Users can add a custom field, by just clicking add field, choosing a name and field type. So people could write whatever information they need. I haven't spend to much time thinking about that but i think that something similar could work well.
