Possible solution to export crashes?
I've had the same problem with the others - crash on export.
How did I get over it? Doubled my RAM to 4GB and cleared up a load of space which presumably needs to be used as virtual memory. It helped for all but one of the exports.
Second point which may also be relevant - at another point I was trying to export to an external hard drive with a FAT32 format (to allow Windows folk access) - which apparently has a filesize limit of 4GB or thereabouts which can easily be exceeded with a recording over 30-40 minutes.
Hope this helps.

Inappropriate?I'd love to Silverback to accomodate the ancient (though still oft-used) FAT32 format and offer an option to limit export size for each file to 4gb or less. It's a regular problem for my exports to disks (for windows-using clients)

Inappropriate?Hey lwaldal,
We've just pushed a new release that has much better memory handling so that should hopefully fix any issues you had.
