Smaller movie file size, almost same quality
I exported a couple of sessions on my MBP, but most of the files were around 2.5 Gigabites each. When I transformed them to MP4 with h.264 encoding in VisualHub, the files were smaller then 800Mb, and it only took around 15 minutes to transform. With almost no quality loss.
What kind of codecs are you using for the lower qualities?

Inappropriate?As it happens we're currently using h.264 for the lower qualities so I'm surprised the discrepancy is so great. We'll take a look at VisualHub and see if we can figure out what they are doing to get such a decrease in file size with little loss in quality. Any decrease in file size obviously needs to be balanced against an increase in export time, so we obviously need to be a bit careful here. However it's definitely worth looking into so thanks for the tip.
