Cannot load images
HI
I'm having problems loading images.
Whenever I try to add an image to the panel it gets as far as
'Loading image 1 of 1'
but goes no further
Files are jpeg approx 1 mb
It is a clean install on XP

Inappropriate?I'm having some trouble reproducing the problem. That image loads for me without a problem. Are you loading it by dragging or by clicking "Choose images"? Have you tried loading just one image?

I've managed to load the example picture when sourced from my desktop, not 'My Pictures' folder and when using a different image sourced from the shared files of another user.
Just a thought.....Is there a maximum length for the file location?
Anyway, I've got a workaround.

Inappropriate?I also had a very similar issue. I had a very long path to my files. When I moved them to a folder on my desktop (after reading your comments) it also made this work MUCH better. Now 6 photos load in a few seconds instead of a few hours. I agree this is a workaround, but at least it's something.
As you can see I can't offer any support, but wanted to thank you for posted your question and at least sharing the workaround

There's no reason that there should be a maximum filename length. It may be a bug in AIR, but it's an interesting observation if it fixes it for both of you. I'll take a look and see if it's a bug at our end, or if we need to get on to Adobe. Thanks to both of you for your reports. I'll get back to you when I've investigated further.

I run XP SP 3 and CleVR V1.20090723.
I copied te images from a very long path name (the loading of images did not work at all) to the path "c:/temp/Panorama Fotos" and then the loading of the images worked without any problem.
I’m wondering what ́s the reason for that?

Tried the exact same routine with the exact same software and O/S (and a few other file/folder locations and still...... dosn't work
