Confused by this software
I use RAPIDWEAVER as my software to create sites and am currently using LITTLE OAK to host my sites. Does this software enable me to get rid of my current host?

Inappropriate?VirtualHostX doesn't replace a real web host, it just lets you test multiple websites locally on your Mac.

Inappropriate?I'm just trying to figure our why I need VirtualHostX. The benefit of VirtualHostX is that not only can we see our sites "live," we can test our forms and anything else that requires a server without uploading to the server, correct? I can publish my sites to my hard drive and/or preview them in my browser now, but VirtualHostX adds the benefit of testing the scripts? I know, I know, if I have to ask the question, I probably don't need the app.

Inappropriate? In summary, here's what VHX solves...
Often, web developers and designers are working on more than one project at a time. That's not usually a problem, since you can "nest" your sites in multiple folders. Sometimes though, that can be a pain because that's not how your real production server works.
But setting up virtual hosts (which is what VHX does) you can mimic that production, real-world environment on your local Mac. It's an easier way to test your sites during development.
