Failure to locate
Hey mate,
Nice looking app but I can't get it to work. I've set it all up and authorised it but when I press update my location it basically searches for ages and doesn't change. I'm in the UK, not sure if that matters, and I downloaded straight from app store on my iPhone 3G.
Any advice on what I could do?

Two quick questions that will help me debug your problem:
1) Where in the UK do you live? I can check with other users and see if it's a problem specific to that area.
2) Try typing your location manually into the text box and updating. Does that update your location successfully in Fire Eagle? (Login to the Fire Eagle website to see if your location has been updated.)

I'm from the West Midlands, Keele University. Postcode ST5 5DZ.
I updated manually then checked fire eagle but it reported no updates.
Actually mate, I found the solution. I had set your app to read my location to "my current neighbourhood", I changed that to "my exact location" and it now updates perfectly.
