Please let me export my data

I'm becoming increasingly uncomfortable that I have stored a lot of data with cocomment (a collection of my comments!) which I cannot retrieve. I mean, storing data in an external service is not the issue, but I don't like it being held hostage/prisoner.

Could we please get XML, RSS, or similarly parsable dumps of our comment data? Would be really nice.
