How do I show progress against a task (mark hours completed as a part of the total hours for the task)? Do I simply reduce the number of hours for a task to show that some have been completed toward the total task hours?
I find when I start a project, I usually have a list of items in an excel spreadsheet. It would be really convenient to be able to upload that list of stories / back log items into Bananascrum, rather than re-typing the individual items.
Will Banana Scrum allow export to .csv file from the Sprint page, just as it does on the Backlog page? We would like to export the backlog items, tasks, remaining estimate values for items in the sprint to .csv from the Sprint page.
We are happy to announce that the new version of Banana Scrum is officially available.
From now you can enjoy live backlog update feature, which relieves you from refreshing the page any time you want to see the latest changes in your backlog or sprint page. Auto-complete feature provides a quick and easy way of assigning tags to your items. Don't hesitate and try them out! If you want to read more go to Banana Scrum website.
OK. I set up a new account, received the activation email and activated. When I try to log in, the login fails and then when I try to change my password (thinking that maybe I mistyped it during registration) it says login failed again. Please help.
One bit of information, I used an email address as my username.
We like to have give the team a place to record back-and-forth discussions of user stories. It would be convenient to 'leave a comment' on the user story. We wouldn't see a value in having threads within that.
I can't seem to find a place in Banana Scrum to specify the team's timezone. That's a problem for timezones far from where the hosted app is located. Yesterday & today, for example, here in Brazil the current Sprint shows as ending "today".
I have recently created a project on banana scrum tool and it was working great. But, from today morning I am unable to access backlog or sprint plan page.
e.g. http://imart.bananascrum.com/imart/sp.... Please support as my sprint has gone on hold due to this.
The .csv export of the product backlog saves a file with data separated by semi-colons instead of commas, so the result does not display properly in excel:
I've noticed that if I use Firefox, Banana Scrum works well. If I use MS Internet Explorer, there are some quirks. For example, in IE, if I expand a backlog item, the description does not show up unless I roll my mouse pointer over the item title. Also, if the backlog item has tasks, they will not appear unless I click "new task" with my mouse pointer. Then, I can cancel the new task and the current tasks remain showing.
So I guess this application works best with non-Microsoft browsers? I believe I've been told before that Microsoft doesn't always follow standards in their browser implementation.
Hello, I have just created a new account with BananaScrum but can ́t log in. I get the login site and put my login name and password. After clicking OK I get an update of the site and the login name and password fields are cleared and I am not logged in.
Hi. I appreciate your interest in my previous idea, so here comes a new one. My proposal is to add another filter to backlog/sprint tasks so it shows tasks assigned to specific developer in my team. It would then be very easy to find task that I should reassing to myself in case of previous dev absence or anything. Cheers.
