CSV export from the Sprint page?
Will Banana Scrum allow export to .csv file from the Sprint page, just as it does on the Backlog page? We would like to export the backlog items, tasks, remaining estimate values for items in the sprint to .csv from the Sprint page.

Due to the fact that this has been requested by multiple users we moved this feature to the top of our internal backlog. It is planned for the current sprint and will be released within two weeks. We also plan to implement CSV import and enhance the CSV format to make it more straight-forward.
One question when it comes to this, do you need to export backlog items only or tasks too? CSV format is not hierarchical, so we consider exporting only items for the sake of simplicity.

Inappropriate? Thanks for this suggestion, we'll put it on the backlog and incorporate in some future version of Banana.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Thank you in advance. It will help with reporting up the management line.

Inappropriate?this is my single biggest complaint with banana scrum (and that of my product manager as well), other than that it is a great application!
when is this going to be implemented?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? This feature is available after the latest release. Please note that you can only export the backlog items. The information about tasks and their estimates is omitted.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?why would the other information not be included? in the current export of the product backlog items, you get the tasks and estimates as well...the export from the sprint backlog should function exactly the same. What value are the sprint backlog items without the tasks and estimates???
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? The problem is that the CSV format is not hierarchical by definition, so representing a nested hierarchy of items and tasks would require a more complex format like XML. If there is an interest in such kind of export we will be glad to implement it.
-
Inappropriate? The current export from the product backlog page in bananascrum does this already, exporting not just the items but also the tasks, estimates, tags and assigned users.
Just make the export form the sprint backlog work exactly the same, as I'm pretty sure all your users will expect to see the same data in the new export. -
Inappropriate?Basing on your feedback we are considering updating export/import format to include tasks. It will be available in the next release in two weeks. Thanks for helping us improving Banana Scrum!

Inappropriate? As Adam promised such functionality has been implemented in the latest sprint. From now on you can import and export all your user stories along with the tasks assigned to them. Though we introduced some changes to the old CSV file format, the backward compatibility is maintained. To learn about those changes please read release notes.
I’m happy
