CSV Import of a backlog
I find when I start a project, I usually have a list of items in an excel spreadsheet. It would be really convenient to be able to upload that list of stories / back log items into Bananascrum, rather than re-typing the individual items.

Inappropriate?Sounds like a good idea, I've just added this to our own backlog for Banana Scrum... which we record in Banana Scrum :)

Inappropriate?So here is something that is not clear to me using the agile methods...This is a key feature for me as a user... and I see it is in the backlog ... but I have no clue as to whether or when it might be updated. I have had my customers tell me the same thing... How does a customer get any feeling about "when" a feature might be coming as opposed to just "its in the backlog"?1 Comment Add a comment

If you are a Product Owner you have a full control over the backlog. So you can put the most important story on the top, making sure it will be handled in the next sprint. When it comes to long term planning you can extrapolate basing on the average velocity of your team, which will give you a good approximation of when a given set of stories will be shipped.
In case of Banana Scrum the situation is a bit different as our internal Product Owner has to balance user requests with our own user stories. -
