What is the iCal link for?
I see there is a link to iCal which opens in my Outlook calendar. What is this for? How can I use this?

Inappropriate? After clicking this link your browser will download an ical file conaining calendar events related to sprints' start and end dates in the given project.
You can import this file to software which supports the ical format (a list can be found on the WIkipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_... ).
The main idea is to copy the link and to paste it into your software client, so the calendar is updated whenever you manage your sprints.

Inappropriate?Yes, but I still don't understand what value this gives me, since I can't schedule any meetings or events in BananaScrum.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? It's just for convenience. You can subscribe to the iCal URL and see the most current sprint calendar containing durations of all the sprints in the project. It's read-only and it doesn't have anything to do with scheduling meetings.
