Build Server Programmatically
Hi,
Is there a way to build an Elastic Server instance programmatically? E.g. using some SOAP API, our app talks to your app to build a new server instance from scratch. Alternatively, pre-create a server template and use the API to build instances of the template.
The idea is to build instances of the elasticserver from our application based on a given set of user requirements.
Are there any technical resources available describing how to achieve this?
Thanks
Eric

Inappropriate? It's a coincidence that you asked this question today...we were just discussing this exact subject about 5 hours ago, and trying to decide when (and how) it will be available for use by our users.
We've been planning this for a while but it's not yet complete.
I can't give any specific details at this time, but I assure you that it will be coming soon. Just keep watching our blog at http://blog.elasticserver.com/ for details.
Thanks,
Nicholas

Inappropriate?Eric, we'd love to hear your ideas about how you would use the API to give us a better sense of the capabilities we might want to provide. Please drop me line => yan.pritzker AT cohesiveft.com Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi Yan,
I've forwarded your response to our solutions architect and he will discuss the point with your business / product guys tomorrow. I believe he's been in communication with them regarding the application we're trying to build.
Thanks
Eric
I’m happy with the prompt replies
