Comcast sent a visible drug addict to my house in December 2007 to install my service. They finally fixed the install problems so that everything worked properly on January 3, 2009. Although I reported immediately that the dope fiend damaged my wall, they didn't provide information on what to do about it until December 11, 2008. Did I mention that my house is old and he broke a plaster wall that I'd just had rebuilt during my home renovation? And, that my father is the one that renovated the wall for me and was killed in a car accident on January 14, 2008, about 3 weeks after the dude messed it up??? Comcast is trash...and they know it.

I need help with my phone connection, I just got re-connected to cable internet and phone. Have same number as before. Cable works great, internet works great, phone doesn't work at all! No dial tone. Can you help me? Also I want Comcast as my home page when I connect to internet, but it goes right to aol. I think my daughter screwed it up when she logged on to check her e-mail.

I hope you can help. My name is my phone number [private information removed]. Yesterday 2Dec2008 a Comcast technitian was here to activate my phone which he did (order #10003322704120620001) and about two hours later my telephone stopped working. I have no deal tone and I haven't had one since yesterday. I called comcast customer service to have someone over this morning 123/8 which I was told "a technician will be there between 8 and 12noon." No one had showed up, I called back at 2pm 12/3/8 and I was told the technician is two blocks from my apartment and he/she will be at my apartment in about ten minutes. 4pm 12/3/8; I called back again (using pay phone), again I was told the technician is in my building and he/she is working on another customer's cable who was ahead of me. It is now 6pm 12/3/8 and two days later and I am still don't my telephone working.
