Anyone get free Science Channel by switching to digital cable?
I believe it was in my Feb bill that I received a Comcast flyer offering some 9 additional channels to customers making the switch to digital cable. One of those was the Science Channel.
Since I would like to get Science, I complained on the Comcast website of discrimination against existing digital subscribers. They apparently hadn't heard of the offer, and had no access to the flyer. After I quoted it directly, all response ceased.
I know Comcast's left hand doesn't know what its right hand is doing, but I really would like to know whether this was an actual offer, or just another Comcast SNAFU.
Was anyone able to take advantage of this offer?
