Can't get digital cable, DVR or internet access.
I finally got my Comcast services transferred to my new address, but now nothing works. What can I do? They can send a technician out, but I work during the week, so no one is able to be there until Saturday.
Here is the problem. The resident before us had the phone service. It's been disconnected but now my DVR box cannot connect nor can the cable modem. Does anyone know how to fix or get a technician there during the week after work hours when we are home?

Inappropriate?Comcast got in touch with me and sent someone over last night. Everything is working perfectly now. I am super happy with my service after going through hell to try and get my service transferred.
The problem was a missing amplifier. The houses in my neighborhood need it. The tech said someone had taken it either when they moved or turned in their equipment. When that is disconnected, nothing will work. Adding one fixed everything.
I’m happy
