Charged for Comcast's errors and ignored
I have been fighting with Comcast for weeks now over a mistake even the manager admits was their error. So for now good reason after being a loyal customer for years, they delete my internet service. According to their manager it was due to a mistake one of their reps made so then they wane me to pay to have it reconnected!! This after having a tv that goes out and a phone that drops the calls and was told for 2 years we "had to deal with it". Well this mgr promises to fix the phone and tv and waive the reconnect fee for internet and sends tech out the next day. They reconnect internet and WIPE OUT MY ENTIRE COMPUTER!!! EVERYTHING!!! ALL FILES, PICTURES...IF IT WAS ON MY COMPUTER IT IS GONE! I had to have someone restore my computer, they send 3 techs out including a tech supervisor to install the modem and knock out the tv!They weren't even supposed to have touched the tv! Phone still doesn't work right and supposedly we weren't supposed to have paid for any techs to come out because it was their mess ups. Well now they hit me with a $400 bill and the manager who gave me all these promises and his direct phone number has not returned a single phhone call since they destroyed my computer almost a month ago and according to comcast he's the only manager for the entire company! I can't even get them to disconnect my service so I can get another service! When another provider went to pull my phone number to transfer it, Comcast cancelled the request! This is beyond outragous! I have contacted an attorney. Maybe government intervention and a few lawsuits will teach them a lesson or two.
