Comcast Triple Play a TOTAL NIGHTMARE
We have had Comcast triple play for 3 weeks now and it has been a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. The phone worked for about 2 days and hasn't worked since. The TV/DVR would work for 10 minutes then give a blank screen. They replaced the DVR and the cable box. It worked for about 1 day. But the phone stopped workeing all together. Sometimes internet works, most times it doesn't. It goes away for no reason and comes back when it wants.
Now IKE has killed everything and we can't even get a response as to when, or if we will ever get service. We need this service to do Internet courses at U Of H. The tuition is paid and they aren't going to refund any money, or give any leeway on getting coursework turned in, just because Comcast can't deliver!

We are working to restore services as quickly as possible and in the safest manner for our employees. We understand the need for services to be back up in all areas, however, many of our employees and offices have been affected by IKE as well. We have teams working around the clock and volunteers from other areas coming in to assist. We are working as fast as we can.

Our problems existed WEEKS before Ike hit the area so I do not expect that our service will be any better after the Ike issues have all been repaired. Our problem is either FAULTY EQUIPMENT, SHODDY INSTALLATION OR BOTH. As of late yesterday our cable TV is working and the Internet access is as before the complete outage (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't).
But we still have NO PHONE SERVICE and it has been nearly a month! The Comcast support line said they will not even attempt to fix our problem until ALL the Ike problems are fixed. But they also said that could be another month. So now we are supposed to pay for two months of phone service, which has never worked, and two months of intermittent, or non-existant, Cable TV and Internet service! -

Inappropriate?I live in Katy and have comcast cable. My daughter and I take on line classes as well. About three weeks ago, we decided to do internet through cable. I spent hours on the phone over several days talking with different techs trying to get the internet up and working. I have a desktop and two laptops. I even spent hours with linksys. I finally decided to go with AT&T. It took less than an hour to walk through and get the internet up and running with no problems.
