Final Bill confusion.
HI,
We got Verizon on the 10th of May, we called to cancel Comcast since we had a bill due on the 13th of May they told us no we can't until the 13th. So first thing on the 13th we called comcast to cancel, returned there equipment and I called again to make sure they had canceled, they were polite and friendly all was great.
We received our final bill for little under $200. we pay $134 a month for our services and we are wondering why it is so high, talking to a customer rep for comcast via there live service, he told us it would not be that high. What is going on? our bill looks like this:
Previous Balance- $134.21
Comcast bundled service- $76.99
Comcast cable television-3.95
Comcast high speed internet- 13.00
Comcast digital voice- $36.06 cr
Taxes, Surcharges & Fees- $3.03
The bit I find strange is the 'previous balance' part, we canceled before the billing cycle started , if someone could explain these crazy charges we will grudgingly pay and be glad we are done with such high rates, but surely this is wrong?.
