FRIED BY COMCAST!!
It appears that my cable was not grounded when a lightning bolt struck a house near by and thus 4 of my electronics are shot. It is very clear that it came through the cable wire because ALL of my electronics hooked up to cable (in different parts of the house) are fried. I would like to know if Comcast will accept any liability if it is found that this is because the cable was not grounded.

I am sorry to learn about the damaged equipment. There are many factors that could have led to this trouble. For example, not having a surge protector is one of the possible causes. Whatever the case may be, we will definitely look into this for you. We will have to send out a technician to assess the damage and then we will take the necessary steps thereafter. Inappropriate?The samething happened to me yesterday it fried my TV and the girl that lives downstairs from me she has Comcast and her TV was fried. Everything that was hooked up to it is gone.
