Getting to know the service number by heart...

I just got service on Friday 25 SEP 09 and I have been on the phone with Comcast everyday since then. I asked for a HD-DVR, phone, and internet service package. I got my service and no DVR. I had to drive to get that swapped over after a few calls to comcast. Now, when i try to record a show, it reboots the DVR. I called from my home phone service and it died in the middle of calling a tech! My phone still doesn't work and i can't go to work and come home to watch any recorded shows. Is this telling me the quality of service to expect from now on? Any help would be nice.
