How do I watch recorded programs in a room other than the one with my DVR box?

I have a television with a DVR box upstairs, but want to watch my recorded programs downstairs. Is there anyway to have the same DVR box work in more than one room? Or move it to a more ideal location? I have also heard of a new "anyroom DVR" system. When is that coming out and how to I install it?
