Why is it that comcast keeps taking channels away and I have to keep paying for the channels I no longer recieve?

Inappropriate?How about paying for a package and not getting 1/3 of the channels. Repoirt it and they want to sell you more insurance for their own equipment. No help and am trying to find another carrier that at least appreciates my business.

I hate Comcast too! At least you have channels to take away! There has been service at my home that I am renting out for years. So the lady that was renting my home moved out. I called to start my account over the Tech said that it would take three weeks to get service. Now all he had to do is click the switch back on and that take three weeks. I think because I live in a BLACK neighborhood. They expect us to just be without service. When I lived in Salisbury, MD the Tech was there the next day. I can not watch CNN or any other networks that would keep me in the loop. I have to come in to work to use the computer and get the new from my co- workers. I hate them too. -
Inappropriate?Actually, Frankie, I wouldn't put anything, including racism, past Comcast, but I live in a very 'white' neighborhood, and it also took me weeks to have my cable installed.
And then I had it for 3 1/2 days. And then my box broke. Now I am waiting another week to get someone to come back out.
Grrr.

Inappropriate?Grumpy has another complaint about Comcast. I also have my internet service with this sorry company, but I don't have the high speed. It originally work alright but lately it gets slower and slower. The other day I get an e-mail from comcast saying I could get the high speed service online for just 10 dollars more a month, it makes me feel like someone is screwing with me. All there fix's ad up to more money out of my pocket.The first thing they blame is my computer but if I go somewhere else and use a different service I have no trouble. I guess it's just like my daddy always said, money talks and bullshit walks.

When cable companies move channels to digital, that has nothing to do with the FCC. You are confusing this with the over the air transition currently scheduled for Feb. Cable companies do this so they can increase capacity and offer more channels, especially HD which is in high demand
