Inappropriate?Summary of some pain:
Called Comcast @ 9pm PST, IVR punted me to a Billing Dept. about 6 times, then called again @ 3:30am PST, IVR/Pushed me to a representative and he flashed/sent a signal to the DVR and said that should fix it. Well, "No Joy".
My experience from sale to delivery is poor (New Customer). I would assume that though so many touch a service like this, these little hiccups should be resolved fairly quickly and in a knowledge base somewhere for a rep to identify and resolve.
Like "Search" for "message"; "in order to start cable service for this device.."
Then just the whole, Rep's are busy so punt to a billing department in an IVR system...nice!

Inappropriate?I also received this error message when trying to view the On Demand programming. It did not happen with the older box, but did happen immediately after receiving one of the new boxes. It is NOT a dvr, just a regular digital cable box. I called the 800 number, the sent out a signal, and it did not fix the problem. When AT&T Cable becomes available in my area I am seriously considering switching. Hopefully they will treat their customers better.

Inappropriate?The issue has been fixed by Comcast. The type of box I have needed to have two signals sent to activate it and only one had been previously sent. The second signal has been sent out and the box now works great. No more white screen!
