Not Authorized Issue
On going issue for over 2 weeks. Started about the same time as a purchase and installation of new HD Tivo with Multi Stream Card not sure it is related to the issue however. Receiving not authorized message with 2 Multi-Stream Cable Cards for 2 Tivos (grey screens), 1 SA HD box and 1 Motorola box (non HD) for multiple channels (Cspan (56), Disney (41), ESPN (33), Channels 59 - 64 (in Houston, TX). to name but a few of the missing ones) One SA HD box is working correctly.
Have had 2 service calls to the house in which the techs verified the signal strength was fine and there was nothing they could do as it is a programing issue not a field tech issue. 12 Phone calls to tech support have yielded no answers or help - they just want to send a tech out again. Also received and error message on one of the Tivos, when tech support was called, they said the issue was fixed but my 73 year old mother was not able to be walked through fixing all the sets. I called back the following day, only to be told that the telephone service center could not walk me through anything. All boxes and tivos have been unplugged and reset multiple times to no avail.
No one can seem to figure out what the issue is or how to fix it. There is an issue with the SA cable cards but none of the tech on the phone or in the field actually know what the issue is or how to fix it.
