Not very Comcastic service
Why can't Comcast hook up high speed Internet service to my modem? I'm transferring my cable and Internet service and the technician said he couldn't hook up my modem. The last time I had service installed, I used Comcast's modem and I got the same song and dance. This time, the technician offered to call me at the end of the day and possibly come back to hook up the modem, for an additional sum, to be paid directly to him.

Inappropriate?Amazing how they don't seem to know what a MAC address is. It's on the back of the modem and that's what they need to complete the installation. They could have done this with a tech on the phone. -
