On Demand error 1102
I receive Error 1102 when I request to view something On Demand. I called Comcast and this is a signal issue. It worked yesterday so why does it have a signal issue today and how does this get fixed? The television in another room can view On Demand selections without any problems.

Did the Comcast rep reset the box? If not, you can do so by unplugging the power to the converter for a few moments then re-plug it. I'm not 100% convinced it's a signal problem if the other set is able to access OnDemand just fine.

Inappropriate?i work at comcast and signal in the line can change due to many factors. water,ice,heat,cold,bad fitting,squirel chews on the outside line {they love cable and telephone lines} and ingress {outside analog airwaves getting in to the cable system due to the above conditions. the list is really long and boring but you get the picture.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem and have had it for a month now. It all started when I changed from a regular digital box to HD/DVR box. Comcast has come out once, replaced by dvr box (took my recorded movies) and left me with a new box. The guy said my entire house needs to be re-wired for cable. Funny part is, it was re-wired when we moved in a year ago.
I wonder if they ever google their own problems before giving out the wrong info.
