Why do I have to pay for comcast to run a cable between two utility poles?
Comcast has service to a pole that is 255 feet infront of my house. There is a utility pole next to my house, and a 2nd one 15 feet away from it. Comcast wants me to pay $3600.00 for them to run the cable between 2 utility poles and then my house. This was AFTER they told me there may be a minimal fee. $3600 ia minimal????

Inappropriate? There might be other tasks or construction/installation that has to be done before the cable can be installed at your home. We will definite explore other alternatives to defray the cost of installation. Will you please send us the address so that we can get more details regarding your situation?
Thank you in advance,

Inappropriate?Wow, now techs have gone out to our old address instead of the new address we are transferring too....
I’m frustrated, confused, and a little ticked off...

Inappropriate?I am in the same situation: Comcast refused to run cable to my house unless I pay them $8500!! That's just cable running from a major router.
I’m another pissed off customer.
