Why wont my Motorola Set top box start??
I moved to Foster City CA and the first thing I did was to take the Comcast Internet and Digital Cable TV connection.
I didn't have a TV at home when the Comcast guy came and did the connection. He told me to plug in the cable to the TV and I should be good. I got my TV and plugged in the cable as instructed and got the channels working.. Loved Comcast for the quick service. But I never knew that my experice will be so bad in the days to come.
After 1 week, I started experiencing problems with the service. The Motorola set up box which was provided started giving problems. It used to switch off randomly. And once switched off, no matter what you do, it will not switch on.
I tried trouble shooting by looking at the comcast website. Nothing worked. Tried calling Comcast, but never got anybody to help me. The customer service system is I guess the worst I have ever seen. Never thought Comcast will be so bad.
I used to use Verison when I was in NJ, and it was so smooth. Not even once did I face any issues with it for years.
I am seriously thinking of discontinuing the service. I am OK with not having a cable TV service rather than having one which doesn't work when needed.
