World of Warcraft & Comcast trouble STRIKES AGAIN!!!
Ok there is another problem with Comcast and World of Warcraft! AGAIN! This is unbelivable. This issue has been going on for 3 days now and still no fix. I keep getting disconected every 5-10minutes or expereince very high latency,I am highly disappointed with Comcast right now the Tech Reps told me that the issue will be fixed in 24 hours, still no fix. If this is not solved quick you will be losing my business to Verizon.

Inappropriate?This does not sound like the prior issue but some type of local connection issue. We would like to review your connection to determine what is up. Email my team the phone number on the account. Also include a traceroute to the WoW website for review. The prior issues were not with Comcast but within the internet leading to the WoW servers. We have advised Blizzard how they can avoid that and what we notice when the trouble has been reported.

Inappropriate?i am also getting the same problem. i notice it also disconects the ventrio so it lead me to asume that the connection gets geset every 5-15 min. 94103 is zipcode to where i am hope that narrows it down

Inappropriate?Been having the same problem as well. Odd thing was it started very suddenly (as in it was fine one night then it suddenly started giving me 2000ms+ the next night and from then on). Given the high latency on Ventrilo (500+) and the slow loading times on my commonly browsed websites the latency isn't isolated to just World of Warcraft (at least for me). Inappropriate?Several people in my guild are disconnecting or having horrible lag at identical times about every 20 minutes. Vent or any other web program has been unaffected..just wow. We realized tonight that all the people having the problem have Comcast. Most are from the east coast oddly. I'm in utah but getting the diconnects at the same time as they are.
Also, my latency is regularly at around 280 ms on wow, which is rather high , but it's jumped to 350+ over the past few days this problem has been occurring.
I can also say it happens more frequently during prime hours (evenings).
Sorry, but this is just too coincidental to not be a comcast/wow problem.
Whatever you need to do to fix it, please do so. Another night of trying to raid like this and I'm afraid I'm done with comcast.

Inappropriate?I am also having major lag with comcast. I just tested it from my friends fios connection a few blocks away, runs fine for him. Looks to be a comcast issue. PLEASE FIX THIS. This is the third major MMO I have had problems with through comcast, and MMOs are the primary reason I have high speed internet.

I've had this problem too. I've called them several times and got a new cable modem. Also having trouble getting many of the HD channels. They never know what's causing the problem or how to fix it. -

Inappropriate?As a System Engineer, I don't understand how or why COMCAST continues having this issue. It started again today for us. Calling Comcast made it worse, in fact 3 disconnects since starting to type this. ATT has been calling and I'm starting to believe Comcast just can't handle the internet so ATT's slow but steady service would be better. Oh, and last word from technician after resetting my brand new modem three times was "I need to open a ticket so someone can reset your modem." What was the other three resets? If they worked for me, these techs would already have been fired. I think I need to fire Comcast next....

Inappropriate?I had a lot of trouble losing my internet connection with Comcast. Also had trouble with Comcast digital voice and receiving HD channels. I had several modem resets and 2 different technicians come over. The cable modem was also replaced. Finally, a 3rd technician was finally able to troublshoot the problem. A cable needed to be replaced and I also got my HD/DVR box replaced. Everything seems to be working fine for the past couple of weeks. I had too much trouble with ATT to ever go back to them. If Comcast is working with you to solve the problem I would still try to solve it unless you have a viable alternative in your area.

Inappropriate?Starting last night I have now been getting disconnected from WoW about every 5-10 minutes. Not to mention that I pay for 16mbps but I only ever get about 8mbps. Please resolve this situation as soon as possible as I am looking at going with another company tomorrow and I'd really rather just stay with comcast and save myself the trouble of switching. However if I cant play my online games then comcast is usless to me.
